Fed Ex Overtime pay class action filed. The case was filed in federal court on December 9, 2010, to stop the practice of Fed-Ex treating their employee as though they were "Independent Contractors." The company controls all their working conditions and is required by the Fair Labor Standards Act to pay them time and one half for hours over 40. The case will involve hundreds of Maine based drivers.
